The last day of school is approaching, and in Vienna everything is about the end of school! On Friday, June 30th, the summer holidays will begin for around 242,000 students in the capital. To properly celebrate this special day, there are numerous certificate campaigns and offers for the kids who are just waiting to benefit from their achievements. How MyDistrict reports, the many great campaigns are being prepared by the service providers in Vienna to coincide with the end of school.
Not only are the grades remembered here, but there are also numerous discounts and surprises that depend on the grade in the certificate. For example, children with an A on their report card can benefit from vouchers and offers that make celebrating even more enjoyable.
Activities for students
A highlight is the pizzeria “Don’t Call it Pizza” in the 3rd district, where students receive a voucher worth 1 euro for every A in their report card. Things also get exciting at “Munchos Peri Peri Chicken” in the 5th district, because the price of the menu there is based on the math grade – you can get an A for just 1 euro!
The Cineplexx cinemas are also on board: here the ticket price is the math grade plus 90 cents, so an A only costs 1.90 euros. In addition to these lucrative offers, there is more waiting for the young people in the city. Anyone who shows their certificate before 12 p.m. will receive a voucher for free ice cream at “Perrella” in the “Herder” bookstore – a real hit for the hot summer days! Cosmo informed that the ice cream scoops are also busy rolling in the organic ice cream parlor “Helli and Leo”: One scoop for an A, two for three A’s and an incredible ten scoops for a certificate with only top grades!
Celebration mood and support
There are incentives not only for grades, there is also support for those who may not have done so well. Free tutoring is offered in several parts of the city - including in Vienna's outdoor pools such as Gänsehäufel and Kongreßbad. Here students can receive support in German, mathematics and English to develop their skills courier reported.
On the last day of school, the Danube Tower offers free entry for students with certificates between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and even access to Europe's highest slide - you have to experience it!
