In the early morning hours of August 26, 2025, a serious accident occurred at the intersection of Klagenfurter Straße and Lastenstraße in St. Veit an der Glan. A driver overlooked a stop sign and collided with a vehicle traveling into the city, causing it to overturn and end up on its side.
