The “Breakfast in the Park” in Bregenz, which will be in full swing from June 17, 2025, brings a happy togetherness. Every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., the green meadows in Mariahilf Park invite you to chat over breakfast and share culinary traditions. When the weather is dry, participants can enjoy this exciting culinary adventure, and not only will they be satisfied, but they will also make friends.
The opening event was nothing less than an “intercultural breakfast” that was entirely dedicated to the exchange between different cultures. The aim of this great format is to bring people with different backgrounds together and to celebrate the diversity in our society. “The participants bring typical dishes from their home country,” explains the district office, which has been responsible for organizing this popular series for twelve years. In this way, a buffet is created that not only delights the palate, but also offers an insight into the culinary arts of a wide variety of cultures.
A meeting place for everyone
Mariahilf Park has established itself as a popular gathering place for neighbors and friends. “The event promotes the coming together of different people, cultures and age groups,” said the organizers. The anticipation for the buffet is palpable, as it is a true celebration of international delicacies. For example, 4fb and Nicole Grabher baked for the buffet and also looked after it.
Many thanks go to the tireless Lidia Rebitzer and her team for the excellent organization of the event. “Guests can not only enjoy good food, but also make new contacts and renew old friendships,” it is said. This successful initiative is also an important impetus for wanting to take part again next year.
