A 48-year-old husband and a 27-year-old Syrian man got into a heated argument after the husband saw his rival coming out of his wife's home. Witnesses report a loud argument that quickly escalated and ultimately resulted in a knife attack, with the younger man acting as the attacker.
The argument broke out on Quellenstrasse, where the 27-year-old attacked the 48-year-old with a knife in his hand. Despite the attack, he was able to fend off the attack, but the altercation ended bloodily: the 27-year-old was stabbed several times and sustained serious injuries. He was given first aid on site and taken to hospital, where his condition remained critical and he cannot be interviewed until further notice.
