Water, dance and music: Big festival in the Kongreßbad Vienna!

What happens in the Congress Baths in Vienna? On August 30, 2025, this historic site will be transformed into a place for artistic exchange and social interaction. The motto is “Dance as living form”. CLUB RADIO BOX to the event entitled “SYMPOIESIS,” which will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. But what exactly can visitors expect?

The focus of the event is on water as a universal life resource and connecting element. Connoisseurs know that the Congress Pool is not just a swimming pool, but a cultural meeting place with a deep history. In the 1930s it was already a meeting place for music and dance, which served as resistance in difficult times. In this tradition we now celebrate with a varied program.

Program and workshops

The event starts at 1:00 p.m. with an open concertMr. Synthosgives insights into the world of sounds in a synthesizer workshop. This workshop is intended for all ages and is a great opportunity for those interested in music. The offering ranges from exciting DJ sets to experimental soundscapes and club sounds. Here is an overview of the program:

  • 13:00-14:30 Uhr: Offener Synthesizer-Workshop mit Mr. Synthos
  • 14:00-19:30 Uhr: Tanznachmittag mit Künstler*innen wie Nono Gigsta (BE), Tanja Fuchs (DE/AT), Snediggen Snurssla (CZ), Ivory NeXor Parker (AT) und Hyko Santos (AT)

The artistic diversity is remarkable: Nono Gigsta brings an exciting mix of house, techno and world music, while Tanja Fuchs breaks down genre boundaries and presents electro-acoustic sounds. Snediggen Snurssla delights with tribalistic beats, while Ivory NeXor Parker combines hip-hop with electronic elements. Hyko Santos, on the other hand, is known for his dub-inspired landscapes.

Entrance fees and collaborations

Admission is very cheap: adults pay €7.60, teenagers €4.30 and children get in for just €2.60. This ensures broad access to cultural and social interaction. The event is in cooperation with Silent Disco Vienna and the AwA* collective for awareness work carried out and takes place under the support of the Austrian Ministry of Housing, Art, Culture, Media and Sport and the City of Vienna MA7 Culture.

Curator Lona Gaikis and graphic design by Peter Oroszlány complete the event, which is not only a celebration of music and dance, but also a symbol of the city's creative energy.
