A new wind blows the 1st Simmeringer SC in the Vienna City League. Felix Pannosch took over the coaching office after he was surprisingly released from SV Donau in spring 2025. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the coach is optimistic and has clear goals in mind. "We have nothing to do with the descent," explains Pannosch and wants to successfully lead the club into the new season. Pannosch looks back on an educational and exhausting last season. The start was anything but easy due to the ÖFB Cup and numerous game cancellations. "The first half of the season was challenging and we were often affected by poor space conditions," he says. Despite these setbacks, the distance from the top at the winter break was only two points, which offered a glimmer of hope for the championship title. During the winter break, the goal of winning the title was clearly defined.
