Breitensee, Österreich - The summer vacation has started and the children of the small region of Waldviertler Stadtland experienced the start with a colorful holiday (s) pass program. On June 30, the opening event at Huki in Breitensee took place under the motto "Maritimes tinkering". Almost 30 enthusiastic children were there and obviously had fun making decorative and fragrant soap pieces and creative works of art made of mussels. At the end of the event, all children were in the best holiday mood, ready for new adventures.

The Lower Austria Landeskindergarten is currently being expanded to make room for an additional group. A demand for needs among the population shows the desire for more care places. The municipal council has already made a fundamental decision and the construction work started in 2023.

Comprehensive renovations of the basement were carried out, and the sanitary facilities, installations as well as floors and lighting were also modernized. An expansion of the school ensures that more space is now available for the students.
