It was an evening full of joie de vivre and Viennese charm: The Winter Rose Ball in Haus Liebhartstal attracted numerous guests on November 10, 2025. District head Stefanie Lamp and Simon Bluma opened the ceremony with the traditional words “Alles Waltz!” As soon as you moved in, you could feel the lively, warm atmosphere that characterized the entire event. “Community experience is our top priority,” said Lamp in her opening speech, in which she emphasized the importance of joy in life and self-determination.
The ball guests were treated to swinging dance music, ranging from waltz to foxtrot to polka. You could literally feel how being together while singing, dancing and laughing brightened the atmosphere. Liebhartstal's in-house fresh kitchen ensured the guests' physical well-being with a fine culinary offering of classic and modern dishes and contributed to the festive atmosphere.
A celebration of community
The lovingly decorated rooms of the guest house provided the perfect setting for the festive evening. An early “midnight performance” in particular received enthusiastic applause and provided additional highlights during the ball. In her speeches, director Ulrike Geier-Palaschke emphasized the togetherness and joy of life in Haus Liebhartstal, which gives the culture of care a high priority in the modern context.
Simon Bluma emphasized the aim of the evening: to enable older people to enjoy life and participate. “We want to strengthen the image of the nursing profession and show that our industry is also about joy and community.” The Liebhartstal team was recently awarded the Vienna Health Prize, which impressively underlines the efforts to create a modern, realistic care culture.
The Winter Rose Ball was not only a celebration, but also a strong symbol of the community and the contribution that Haus Liebhartstal makes to society. An evening that will be remembered for a long time!
