Screaming against seagulls: British biologists reveal effective defense!

A sunny day by the water can quickly be spoiled when seagulls buzz overhead and squint hungrily at your plate. But British biologists now have a simple and entertaining tip to scare away these feathered guests. Loud OE24 Effective “screaming” is the best way to keep seagulls away from cakes and snacks. A study published in the renowned journal “Biology Letters” shows that seagulls react particularly well to cries made in a firm male voice, while they hardly react to gentle words.

Researchers from the University of Exeter carried out their tests at nine coastal locations in Cornwall. Three different methods were tried: screaming in a male voice, speaking calmly, and imitating the song of a robin. The result? Of the seagulls that were yelled at, 10 out of 21 flew away, while only 3 of the 20 seagulls that were approached decided to fly away. Despite an attempt to lighten the sunny mood with bird song, it had little effect - only 3 seagulls flew away!

Storage prices rise due to AI demand

Tabellen zeigen drastische Preisanstiege für verschiedene Speicherarten: Ein 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 Kit stieg von 95 USD auf 184 USD, das entspricht einem riesigen Anstieg von 94%!

The main cause? The demand from the booming AI industry, which has a massive need for storage solutions. Future forecasts show that this development will continue, especially through massive investments in AI infrastructure - OpenAI plans to invest around USD 500 billion in the USA. Therefore, this storage shortage could be felt until at least the first half of next year.
