Vienna Table Tennis Cup 2025: Exciting games in front of the Ferris wheel!

On July 12, 2025, the Prater in Vienna shone not only with the splendor of the Ferris wheel, but also with the sign of table tennis. He organized it Vienna Table Tennis Cup 2025 attracted over 45 committed players who fought for the best places. Despite the changeable weather, which offered everything from rain to sun, the event managed to spread a family atmosphere and attract numerous spectators, including from the Prater.

The Vienna Table Tennis Cup is considered one of the most important events for amateur players in the city and this year was the 9th tournament within the current season and the 29th event since the tournament series was founded. The tournament series organized by Table tennis hobby Vienna is organized with the aim of promoting openness, diversity and inspiration in Viennese table tennis. Particularly noteworthy is the free participation for all athletes.

The day was full of exciting matches. In the end securedM. Ponjaracfirst place, followed byM. Riglthaleron second and the lady of the tournament,B. Ruprechtshofer, which took third place. In a thrilling little finaleM. Krammer, last year's winner, convinced again.

The future of table tennis in Vienna

The gaming communities and clubs invite everyone interested to discover their skills and become part of this vibrant sport.
