My Ugly Clementine: Feminist rock power conquers Vienna!
On June 18, 2025, a real highlight was announced at the Arena Open Air in Vienna: the Viennese indie supergroup My Ugly Clementine rocked the stage. With clear feminist messages and an impressive number of special guests, My Ugly Clementine's performance left a lasting impression on fans. This was the band's biggest performance to date, attracting a large audience and spreading a lot of good vibes.
The show started at 6 p.m. with Cousins Like Shit, who got the audience in the mood with their indie pop songs. This was followed by Philine Sonny, who presented her single “Drugs”. At 9 p.m. the time had finally come: My Ugly Clementine took over the stage with their energetic mix of garage rock, indie and pop. The band, which already celebrated great success with their debut album “Vitamin C” in 2020, also presented their new songs from the album “The Good Life”, which was released in August 2023.
An evening full of empowerment
During the concert, front woman Sophie Lindinger spoke between songs about social issues and inequality in our society. The Vienna Schmusechor supported the band with their impressive hit “When a Man Tells You to Smile”, which was particularly well received. The audience was thrilled by the band's powerful performance and commitment to feminist activism.
The event was not only a musical highlight, but also an opportunity to do good. At the end of the concert, donations were collected for the Neunerhaus and the women's initiative Changers for Women, which made the evening even more meaningful.

The band is not only an example of female strength in music, but also part of a larger network of Female:Pressure and Sounds Queer, who are campaigning for greater visibility and equality in the music industry. The positive experiences gained at events such as the Pink Noise Girls* Rock Camp also show that women in the music scene are receiving more and more opportunities and opportunities.
