Creative autumn holidays in Aidlingen: fun without the Halloween fiesta!

This year, Vienna was enveloped in a very special atmosphere - although not for Halloween, but during the “Hello Vienna” project week, organized by FERIA e.V. in Aidlingen. This creative initiative took place during the fall holidays of 2025 and brought together 37 children who dedicated themselves to Viennese charm with a variety of activities. The organizers wanted to give the little ones a break from the Halloween hustle and bustle and focused on community and fun.

From 5 to 9 days, the children used their creativity by painting glasses, designing jewelry, making masks and making pottery. Culinary delicacies couldn't be missing: Frankfurter, home-baked vanilla crescents and a delicious Sachertorte on the last day provided for the physical well-being. In a total of six project weeks, which enabled a total of over 300 children to take part in 2025, this is one of the particularly colorful and vivid ones. Thanks go to the dedicated volunteers who actively support, organize and carry out the event.

Community spirit and creative development

The FERIA e.V. initiative is more than just a leisure activity; Its aim is to give families access to a wide range of offerings. The doors are also open for the youngest, because the website feria-aidlingen.de offers relevant information and easy-to-use online registration. Despite the fact that the association is not legally obliged to ensure digital accessibility, the team is continuously working to make the platform more accessible for everyone. Measures such as easy-to-read texts, a clear page structure and alternative texts for images are on the agenda.

The next opportunity for holiday care will be during the Easter holidays in 2026. Interested families can register and secure their places in early 2026. The experience from this project week shows that creative work offers countless ways to build a community and bring joy to children.

In view of the great response and the numerous participants, the organizers hope for an equally successful continuation of the project weeks next year. However, “promoting community and fun” is not just a motto; it is reflected in every activity and every smiling face.
