Young theater inspires with free opening parties in Vienna!
The Young Theater takes off and celebrates its first season in five outlying districts of Vienna with a colorful opening party. From Floridsdorf to Donaustadt to Liesing, a variety of cultural offerings are presented that are intended to delight theater lovers both young and old. The first festival will take place on September 6th in Floridsdorf at the 1210 Vienna football club. The clown theater piece “On behalf of the director” begins at 3 p.m. and is intended to delight little guests aged 4 to 10. The day is rounded off with a football game between FC 1210 and FCB Donaustadt, which kicks off at 6 p.m.
A festival for everyone
Another stop is the opening festival in Simmering on September 13th in Neubuilding Castle. From 2 p.m. there will be several concerts and exciting theater performances, with the crowning finale being a DJ set by Stephan Deutsch that starts at 10 p.m.
In Favoriten, visitors can look forward to the girls' stage at Reumannplatz on September 18th. From 2 p.m. there will not only be music and dancing, but also the exciting “Body Music Explosion” in the program, which is sure to create an exuberant atmosphere.
The festival will take place in Liesing on September 20th at the f23 cultural center. The dance starts at 3 p.m., while the puppet theater piece “Snail Alarm” for children ages 2 to 10 will be performed at 4 p.m. The crowning conclusion of the opening ceremonies will be the event in the Danube city on September 26th in the Donauzentrum, where entertainment will be provided from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The opening parties are not only a highlight for the audience, but also offer the young talents the opportunity to present themselves at a casting call for the role in “Agathe Bauer”.
