Delays on the A23 and A22: there is a risk of traffic jams at the weekend!

A turbulent weekend is approaching for all drivers in Vienna. Next Friday, the Vienna Südosttangente (A23) will be an exercise in patience between 10 p.m. and Monday at 5 a.m. due to construction work in the direction of Graz. Anyone traveling in the city on Friday evening or Saturday should dress warmly - there is only one lane open at night. Things get a little better during the day because there are at least two lanes available.

But that's not all that drivers have to consider. Temporary delays are also to be expected on the Danube bank motorway (A22) from the Kaisermühlen tunnel and the northern edge expressway (S2). The Nordbrücke, Brigittenauer Lände, Belt, Gunoldstrasse, Barawitzkagasse, Johnstrasse, Grünbergstrasse, Altmannsdorfer Strasse, Reichsbrücke, Lasallestrasse and Praterstern will be particularly affected by additional traffic jams. It seems as if many Viennese could get stuck in traffic jams at the weekend - so a good hand at route planning is required!
