Loud oe24 A large number of innovative suggestions were selected from 84 designs. Since autumn, over 1,600 ideas have been submitted by the public and have been grouped into thematic groups. This shows how important it is for the Viennese to help shape their environment.

Not only creativity but also feasibility played a crucial role in the selection process. Together with idea generators and experts from the city, the most promising approaches were concretized in project workshops. These were then presented to the district jury for a decision. The final selection took place in a consensus process over three weekends in May and June. The citizens not only discussed the ideas, but also showed a good hand when it came to project development.
