Schranz' masterpiece: five-star resort on Lake Garda inspires!
In recent years, the Schranz company from St. Veit has developed into a significant player in the hotel equipment sector. With an extensive range of products and services, it has successfully served numerous luxury hotels in the Alpine region, including notable hotels such as the Gmachl in Bergheim and thegipfelhaus on Magdalensberg. The tradition of quality has a long history here, as the Schranz family has been trading in high-quality hotel linen since 1977 and produces curtains, table linen and textile accessories in their own factory. The company's latest project is particularly impressive: the furnishing of the Stroblhof Lake Garda Active Family Spa Resort in Brescia.
This five-star resort is the largest project in Schranz's company history and represents a milestone with an investment volume of 80 million euros. Here, 81 rooms and suites were equipped with complete hotel linen, individual curtains, wallpaper and upholstery. The company secured the contract through an international tender, which includes a contract value of half a million euros. The stylishly furnished rooms now shine in turquoise, petrol and dark blue and give the rooms a Mediterranean flair that is intended to appeal to guests, as Kleine Zeitung reports.
Diverse services
Schranz not only offers high-quality hotel linen, but has also set up a wallpapering workshop in Merano where pieces of furniture can be reupholstered. The trained team supports customers in selecting fabrics and styles in order to preserve both the functionality and the visual appearance of the furniture. Reupholstering can not only provide a fresh look but also extend the life of the furniture, according to the company website Schranz.
The focus on high quality has its price, as Schranz is struggling with rising personnel costs, which have grown by 8 to 9% in Merano and by as much as 36% throughout Austria. This represents a challenge for the company's pricing policy, which nevertheless plans to expand its offering and, among other things, supply textiles for Krastowitz Castle in Klagenfurt.
Hospitality is changing
In the future, it remains to be seen how Schranz and similar companies will respond to their industry developments. However, one thing is certain: the combination of tradition and modern design will continue to be at the heart of their strategy to assert themselves in a dynamic market.
