Summer highlights: Soap&Skin & more at Arena Wien Open Air 2025!

Summer is in full swing and with it comes the anticipation of top-class concerts in Vienna. The Arena Vienna has put together an exciting open-air program for the summer and autumn of 2025. Under the title “Arena Wien Open Air 2025” artists such as Soap&Skin, Der Nino aus Wien, HVOB, Antilopen Gang, Buntspecht and Meute will be on stage. The Soap&Skin concert on September 5th is already particularly sold out, but there is no dull moment with the other artists either - the selection is colorful and diverse.

On September 7th, Der Nino from Vienna will provide musical highlights. Immediately afterwards, on September 11th, HVOB rocks the stage, also already sold out. If you want to take advantage of the chance to get tickets for the remaining concerts, you should hurry up: the Antilopen Gang will play on September 12th, followed by Buntspecht on September 20th and the energetic performance by Meute on September 28th.

Soap&Skin in the spotlight

The main attraction, Soap&Skin, is an artist who is bringing a breath of fresh air to the Austrian music scene. Anja Plaschg, her real name, was born in Gnas, Styria and grew up on a pig farm. Her musical journey began in adolescence, and after exciting studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, she came out in 2008 with her four-track EP “SOAP&SKIN”. Her debut album “Lovetune for Vacuum” (2009) catapulted her into the top 5 of the Austrian album charts and attracted international attention in countries such as France and Belgium.

The artist enjoys comparison with greats like Cat Power, Kate Bush and Björk. In 2010 she was awarded the “European Border Breakers Award” and after a creative break she returned in 2018 with her third album “From Gas to Solid/You Are My Friend”. After an acclaimed comeback at LIDO SOUNDS 2024, the open-air concert in Vienna in September will be another highlight in her career. The audience can also look forward to their new album “Torso”, which is announced for November 2025.
