Motor-City Vienna: A new mobility paradise opens in Simmering!

On November 4th, the Motor-City ceremoniously opened its doors on Baudißgasse in Vienna-Simmering. Under the operator Fahri Gökbas and his dedicated team, an innovative mobility concept is presented that focuses on the needs of modern drivers. Formerly owned by the Eisner company, the car dealership has been newly redesigned and is now the ideal place to go for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in car and two-wheeler fun. High-profile guests from politics and the automotive industry attended the opening ceremony, while numerous customers and friends of the new Motor City were able to take a look into the future of mobility.

With partners such as Opel, XPeng and Honda Motorrad, the Motor City offers a wide range of offers. Opel, the volume and fleet brand, ensures that environmentally friendly options are not missing. XPeng's premium electromobility stands for innovative technology and sustainability. For everyone who likes to travel on two wheels, Honda Motorcycle has the right models in its luggage. Motor City takes care of all facets of urban mobility, with the new vehicle sector leaving nothing to be desired.

Comprehensive services

But Motor City's offerings are not just limited to selling vehicles. A comprehensive “all-inclusive” mobility concept ensures that customers receive everything from a single source. In addition to the new cars, you benefit from numerous additional services, such as your own workshop, plumbing, preparation and wrapping. The Motor City also keeps its finger on the pulse when it comes to spare parts trading and offers insurance and financial services.

Sales manager Wolfgang Wagner emphasizes the importance of customer proximity and a wide range of services. “We want our customers to feel in good hands and get the most out of their vehicle,” he says. This commitment is also reflected in the expansion of operations after Fahri Gökbas took over the Czeczil company in 2022. With the opening of the Motor City he has now taken another big step.

A look back at Opel colors

The history of Opel is rich in color! In August 1971, the popular Opel GT was available in ten different colors. The standard colors included Citrus Yellow (color code CC) and Cardinal Red (JJ). Particularly noteworthy are the metallic colors such as Sahara Gold, which was available at an additional cost. For certain models there were even rarer, only temporarily available colors such as Pampas Green or Brilliant White. Opel's diverse color palette not only appeals to nostalgics, but also shows how much the brand has developed over the years.

The Motor-City, which is now operating in Vienna-Simmering, is an exciting homage to Austrian automotive history, while at the same time looking into the future of mobility. It remains to be seen what new colors and models will be presented in the coming years, but one thing is certain: the passion for cars and two-wheelers remains unbroken.
