The anticipation for the new 2025/26 football season is increasing in Hütteldorf. The SK Rapid players have already resumed training and are preparing for the competitive start of the UEFA Conference League on July 24th. On July 18th, the season start party will be celebrated at the Allianz Stadium, an event that brings fans and players together. The festival starts at 4 p.m. and promises plenty of entertainment with stations such as the goal scoring wall, soccer darts and a club wheel of fortune. Mascot Fuxiii will also be there to delight the young fans.
A highlight of the season start party will be the team's show training in the stadium, followed by a presentation of the players on the field. An exclusive autograph session is also offered for the little fans. Visitors can also look forward to a variety of food and drinks, while the opening hours of the fan shop, fan corner and the Rapideum will be extended. Entry to the festival is free, a great offer for all football fans!
Union Berlin visits Vienna
In order to test the squad for the upcoming season, the 1. FC Union Berlin team will play against Rapid in Vienna on July 20th. The Bundesliga team is also preparing intensively for the season and will start its preparation on July 7th with sports medical examinations. The first public training session will follow on July 9th, which is sure to delight the fans. In the first week there are two test matches before the double test match day in Austria in the second week, where, among other things, the duel against SK Rapid is on the agenda.
Union Berlin has very clear plans: After the game against Rapid, they will start a training camp in Herzogenaurach, which will last until August 1st. Another test match is planned there as well as the final preparations for the Bundesliga season, which starts on August 22nd to 24th.
