Late on Saturday evening, August 31, 2025, there were two serious traffic accidents on the Vienna Beltway, which affected several vehicles. Fortunately, there was no material damage and all occupants were able to get out of their cars uninjured, as Heute reports.
The first accident occurred after midnight on Gaudenzdorfer Gurtel, near the Burger King. On a wet road, a black Audi A6 lost control in a long left turn. The Audi collided with full force into a parked Mini Cooper, which was catapulted onto the pavement by the force of the impact. A Skoda Fabia was also damaged in this accident. The extensive damage to the vehicles involved speaks volumes about the seriousness of the incident.
Accidents on the Lerchenfelder Belt
Only a little later, in Vienna-Neubau, the second accident occurred on the Lerchenfelder Belt, in the area of Thaliastrasse. According to initial estimates, at least three vehicles were involved in this incident. Here too, the occupants were able to get out of their cars uninjured after the collision.
