A new hotspot for sausage lovers opens in Vienna: The first “Extra-Würstel” location at Mariahilfer Straße 47 has opened its doors. The company around Michael and Felix Fuchs is therefore continuing to expand, having successfully set up its first stand on Taborstrasse and a second pop-up stand on Donauinsel in 2024.
The selection of the new location comes at just the right time on the popular shopping street. The focus is particularly on the sought-after products such as the chili cheese krainers and the kimchi bosna. There are also vegan and organic sausages to feast on, which are designed to delight the taste buds of the Viennese. “We want to offer something for everyone,” emphasizes Michael Fuchs.
Generous ambience and expanded range of drinks
One of the innovations is the larger pub garden, which now makes the queues for a good sausage much more comfortable. The range of drinks on offer is also being expanded: in addition to classic soft drinks, there is now also beer on tap and Prosecco on tap. This means that the stand is clearly following a trend that is very popular in the city.
The new location is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., so guests can enjoy the delicacies at any time. The classic offer will not be left behind: Käsekrainer, Bosna, hot dogs and fries in various variations will still be on the menu.

After the successful launch of Taborstrasse and the promising pop-up in summer 2024, the entrepreneurial duo seems to have a good hand.
