Festival AlpenKammerMusik 2025: A festival of sounds in the Lesachtal!
The Lesachtal, known as the most natural valley in Europe, will once again be the stage for the famous AlpenKammerMusik this year. The 17th edition of this festival, which attracts chamber music lovers from all over the world, will take place from June 21 to July 5, 2025. Anyone interested in first-class musical performances or intensive rehearsals has come to the right place. With over 40 participants from different countries, the festival will bring many enthusiastic musicians to the region this year. The workshops in the Lesachtal
A decade ago, Elena Levina and Daniel Swartz moved their “Alpine chamber music” workshops from Rome to the Lesachtal. This decision came after an inspiring visit to the Lesachtal and the Folk Music Academy. The festival offers inviting sessions for musicians of all ages, from 18 to 80, and appeals to students as well as committed amateurs and professionals. Most performances take place in the spacious cultural hall in Liesing, which can accommodate up to 500 people and has a Bechstein grand piano.
