5,000 euros for animal welfare projects: Fressnapf calls for participation!
Baden near Vienna becomes again the Center for Photography. The largest photo festival in Europe, the Festival La Gacilly Baden Photo, is stopping in the charming city for the eighth time. With a variety of impressive photographs and creative installations, the event not only attracts photography lovers, but also families and animal lovers. The focus is not only on art, but also on social responsibility.
A special concern has been committed to the flag this year. Until June 6th, projects, initiatives or associations will be sought that are committed to animal welfare. As part of the “Tierisch, committed” initiative, a total of 5,000 euros will be wave to the best submissions. This facility was launched in 2014 and has set itself the goal of supporting animal rights activists and their projects. So if you have an idea or an initiative that helps animals in need, do not hesitate to apply because there is something!
committed projects in animal welfare
The collected donations of "animal -committed" flow into remarkable projects. One example is the Kinderburg Rappottenstein in the picturesque Waldviertel. Families with seriously and chronically ill children, or those who are traumatized, are helped with creative workshops and emotional support. This concept aims to give the affected families new zest for life.
Another highlight is the nature conservation association Austria , which has been active since 1913. This non -profit organization is devoted to the protection of animals, plants and habitats throughout Austria. Among other things, she carries out local species protection projects and national campaigns - a committed pioneer in the field of nature conservation.
For children with cancer and their families, E.Motion Equotherapy offers special therapies with horses on a farm at Pyhra. Here the children experience an increase in their quality of life through the loving handling of animals. Around 400 children are looked after every year, which speaks for the positive effects of animal -assisted therapy.
animal protection in everyday Austrian everyday life
Austria not only established itself as a state forward model in animal welfare, but it also does not stop in the legal framework. The country has some of the most comprehensive animal welfare laws worldwide that regulate the adequate care and accommodation of utility and pets. Animal rescue and rehabilitation centers are tirelessly committed to injured or exposed animals. This shows how important the Austrian citizen is: inside the well -being of the animals.
The Viennese animal welfare police ensure that the animal welfare laws are enforced in the city. There are also numerous organizations such as SOS animals Austria or Four paws Austria , which are committed to protection and the well-being of animals. Animal -friendly tourism has also established itself so that travelers can find animal -friendly accommodations and activities.
Last but not least, the ban on fur animal breeding has been an essential part of Austrian animal welfare since 2004, which shows how seriously the country takes this topic. Innovation spirit is also in the famous "Katzencafé" in Vienna, one of the first of its kind in Europe, which promotes responsible pets and at the same time offers the opportunity for adoption.
How current animal welfare is in the general discussion is not only shown in Baden near Vienna, but throughout Austria. Let yourself be inspired and perhaps also become active at the initiative "animal committed", because every contribution counts - especially when it comes to the well -being of our animal roommates.
