30 years of OGAE Austria: ESC legends live in Vienna celebrate their anniversary!

In Vienna it will be loud, colorful and musical! The official fan club OGAE Austria is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an energetic event that is already igniting anticipation for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2026. On Saturday, October 4, 2025, visitors can look forward to a concert with numerous former ESC participants in the Wiener Stadthalle. In the run-up to this great music competition, the “Eurovision Live” event promises to be a highlight, 220 days before the ESC takes place in Vienna. As [meinkreis.at](https://www.meinbezirk.at/wien/c-lokales/esc-fanclub- Feiert-30-jubilaeum-mit-live-acts_a7647520) reports, it starts at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased for 39 euros via stadthalle.com or wien-ticket.at.

But who are the stars who will take the stage? The list is impressive! Among others, Eimear Quinn from Ireland, winner in 1996, and the Austrian singer Pænda, who competed for her country in 2019, will appear. Other participants include the Czech artist Adonxs, the Maltese ESC great Chiara, as well as Victor Crone from Estonia, Justs from Latvia and the Swedish young artist Jacqline. Chiara has not just one, but two top three placements in her spectacular career: in 1998 she landed in third place with “The One That I Love” and in 2005 she even came in second place with “Angel”. The other acts also achieved impressive placings and are likely to enchant fans with their performances.

ESC 2026 – An anniversary and a return

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be the 70th edition of the popular competition and will take place from May 12th to 16th, 2026 at the Wiener Stadthalle - one of the city's most famous venues, which has already been used twice for the ESC. After Austria won the competition this year with the catchy song “Wasted Love” by JJ, they will now be taking to the microphones in Vienna for the third time. A highlight will be the opening ceremony on May 10, 2026, as well as the Eurovision Village on Rathausplatz, where local artists and ESC participants will perform. The EuroClub, a popular meeting place for fans and active people, will be housed in the Vienna City Hall.

Preparations are already in full swing. Austrian citizens can look forward to a big spectacle, especially with the announcement that the new logo and design elements for this year's competition are themed “Chameleon Heart”. These festivities are not only a celebration for fans, but also a valuable opportunity for Vienna to present itself at its best and shine as a city of culture.

A wide field of participants

By the deadline for applications on September 15, 2025, numerous countries have already confirmed their participation in the ESC 2026. Among the pledges are Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan and many more from across Europe. Only a handful of countries, such as Ireland and the Netherlands, have announced that they will not take part should Israel be represented in the competition. These developments demonstrate the continued high level of interest and celebration that already surrounds the competition. The production costs are estimated at 36 million euros, with large parts being borne by the City of Vienna and the EBU.

The anticipation of the ESC and the anniversary of the OGAE Austria are just a few facets of what Vienna has to offer in the coming months. You can look forward to numerous musical highlights, creative performances and unforgettable experiences! If you want to be there, you shouldn't miss out on tickets for the concert on October 4th.
