Vienna has reason to be happy! The renowned hotel is in the global ranking of the best hotels Hotel Sacher is now in 49th place, making it the only German-speaking hotel to be in the top 50. This success was announced in London at the end of October 2025 and represents a special moment for Austrian hospitality.
The list in question, created by around 800 independent industry experts, shows a strong international profile, although there are no hotels from Germany, Austria or Switzerland in the top 50. The top positions secure thisRosewood Hong Kong(1st place), followed byFour Seasons Bangkok(2nd place) andCapella Bangkok(3rd place). Tradition for 150 years
The Hotel Sacher, which was opened in 1876 by Eduard Sacher, is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. The son of the creator of the legendary Sacher cake has created a real symbol of tradition, luxury and cultural significance with his house.
