Art highlight in Hernals: Grätzel.Kunst. Days inspire millions!

Dornbacher Straße bis Josef-Kaderka Park, 1170 Wien, Österreich - The "Grätzel.Kunst.Astage" in Hernals attract attention at the weekend. From June 12th to 15th, the surrounding area around Dornbacher Straße to Josef-Kaderka Park turned into a true art paradise. With a diverse program and with free admission, the organizers enabled visitors to dive into the works of over 30 local artists: inside Dornbach, Neuwaldegg and Hernals. A special highlight was the final party at Rupertusplatz, which took place on Sunday, June 15th.
The event was launched by the "Dornbach and Neuwaldegg Bunt" initiative, with the support of the city of Vienna, the Hernal district, the Gräteloase and local company. District chief Peter Jagsch (SPÖ) did not miss the opportunity to emphasize the importance of this event for the community. He emphasized that such events promote a strong sense of community and bring art into the everyday life of people.

What did the art festival offer visitors? Daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., people were able to look forward to pop-up exhibitions, live concerts, impressive live street art performances, workshops and improvisation theater. Of course, the physical well -being was also taken care of. Numerous stalls offered a selection of delicious dishes and delighting drinks to round off the cultural experience.

an event that brings together

die grätzel.Kunst.tage were more than just a festival - they were an opportunity to celebrate artistic work in the region. The different activities made it possible for the residents: inside and visitors to talk to each other and experience the variety of art. It was a platform on which both established artists: inside and young talents had the chance to present themselves.

In order to make the experience even more varied, there were also Grätzel tours that brought visitors closer to the art scene in the area. These tours were a big plus and contributed to strengthening the connection to the artists. With all art and culture, the fun didn't go by the wayside - especially the children's program was very popular.

promote culture

Culture is capitalized in Vienna. This is not only evident from the grätzel.Kunst. For example, a lively market is supported in the residential street of the Matzner district by appearances by local groups and musicians. The goal is clear: visitor traffic should be increased and preserved, so that Vienna's cultural wealth remains accessible to everyone. The initiators of grätzel.kunst.Kunst.tags and other events work closely with institutions such as the local music school ZMV 14 to offer young talents a stage.
The success of the grätzel.Kunst.Aff.tage could serve as a template for future events. The relaxed atmosphere and the extensive program are a prime example of how to bring together people interested in art and strengthen the neighborhood.
