Last Saturday, July 19, 2025, this took place in Nebersdorf 13th Beach Volleyball Masters took place, which captivated the audience in the best summer weather. The event, which was organized by the chairman of the Nebersdorf youth team, Clemens Toth, attracted numerous beach volleyball fans to the sports field and offered a varied program for young and old.
The atmosphere was exuberant throughout, not least thanks to the musical accompaniment from DJ sound and the opportunity to get cool drinks in the beach bar or beach lounge. The traditional Spritzer bar, which was won by the Strebersdorf fraternity in the Spritzer competition, was particularly popular. A children's Olympics took care of the youngest visitors, which provided additional fun.

From a sporting perspective, the tournament was a complete success: the group “Superkalifragilistikexpialigetisch” secured first place, followed by the “Neon Dips” in second and the “Black Panthers” in third place. Mayor Martin Karall and runner-up Franziska Friedl also appeared from the ranks of the Black Panthers, which sparked a lot of enthusiasm among the spectators.
A successful day for everyone involved
The event was described not only as strong in terms of sport, but also as well organized. The players had a lot of fun and visitors came in droves to watch the exciting games and enjoy the summer atmosphere. With an entry fee of 20 euros per team, the winners received prize money of 50 euros for first place, 30 euros for second place and 20 euros for third place. These are not only good incentives for the participants, but also great opportunities to get in the mood for the competitions in the morning.
