A victory for the Greens! SK Rapid II was finally able to celebrate its first win of the season in the game against FAC Vienna. After a mixed initial phase in the... ADMIRAL 2nd league, in which the team was unsuccessful in the first three rounds, achieved a 1-0 victory on September 26, 2025 at the FAC pitch in Floridsdorf. This success comes after the 2-2 draw against Admira the previous week, in which Rapid once again missed opportunities.

In the 17th minute the time had come: The player Szladits scored the decisive goal for Rapid II. This goal not only marked a turning point for the team, but should also provide a noticeable relief in the Rapid camp. Rapid II showed great improvement and the victory was more than deserved.

Course of the game and line-up

The SK Rapid II competed with a slightly different lineup. Laurenz Orgler was in the starting line-up in goal, replacing Benjamin Göschl. The defense was supported by Stehrer, Brunnhofer, Velimirovic and Schöller, while the midfield was well coordinated with Roka, Szladits, Music and Thiero. Haidara and Berger were used in the attack.
