The new radiology center covers 1,830 square meters and includes not only a breast health center and an interventional vascular center, but also parts of the administration. But the restructuring is not entirely without effort, as the descriptive image of a “change tree game” makes clear – departments have to move regularly during the restructuring, which is a challenge for everyone.
Modern rooms for better processes
At the end of this comprehensive renovation, a new central emergency room will be added, which is an important part of the entire project. The rooms are currently still being used by various departments, while at the same time the renovation is being pushed forward. Despite all the cost-cutting constraints, the renovation of the clinic is being continued - Johannes Lischent, project manager, sees this as confirmation that everything is going according to plan.
The new modern workstations and treatment rooms offer numerous advantages for both employees and patients. Particularly noteworthy is the optimized workflow, which has been significantly improved by the excellent connection to the emergency department. The design of the rooms is also impressive: bright and friendly, they significantly increase the feel-good factor.
