Experience the VBW Musical Kids Club: singing and dancing in the Ronacher!
A true paradise for young talents opens its doors: From October 18th, children aged 7 to 12 can Musical Kids Club of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) discover the exciting world of musicals. Whether singing, dancing or acting – here the little ones can let their creativity run wild!
The workshops take place in the renowned Ronacher, Himmelpfortgasse 25, and offer participants not only the opportunity to develop their talents, but also to take a look behind the scenes of the theater. Nobody is forced to have any previous knowledge here. Everyone who wants to exercise and have fun is warmly welcome - without any accompanying person.
Program and workshops
The offer includes three-hour workshops that couldn't be more different. On Saturday, October 18th, for example, the focus will be on the current VBW production “CATS”. Children experience a colorful mix of singing, acting and dancing. The event highlights are:
- Termin: 18. Oktober von 9:00 bis 11:30 Uhr (7-9 Jahre) und 12:30 bis 15:00 Uhr (10-12 Jahre)
- Weitere Termine: 15. November, 20. Dezember, und 17. Januar mit ähnlichen Zeitfenstern
Participation costs 20 euros per child, including a workshop and an exciting backstage tour. To ensure your little stars stay fit, they should bring comfortable clothing, sneakers or non-slip socks, as well as a water bottle and a small snack.

Registration is also required for the many exciting topics of the upcoming workshops, which range from singing with a microphone to special karaoke workshops. These offer the opportunity to perform songs from well-known musicals such as “Les Misérables” or “Frozen”.
A look beyond the VBW events shows that Vienna is full of offers for young theater enthusiasts. Such workshops and courses are also held via the platform ViennaXtra which offers a variety of acting, theater and improvisation courses that not only take place in the districts but are also available online.
