Pure culture: Donaupark Festival starts with 25 free events!
Things are coming to life again in Vienna! From July 12th to August 31st, 2025, the 20th Open Air Festival will take place on the stage in Donaupark. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, visitors can look forward to a total of 25 events that offer a variety of musical and cabaret highlights. Admission is free, which not only makes the park an indispensable part of Vienna's cultural life, but also a real insider tip for many locals and guests. The organizer of the festival is Herbert Sobotka, President of the Donaustadt Cultural Association, who was recently honored for his services to the Donaupark stage by district leader Ernst Nevrivy. The financing comes from funds from the 22nd district and MA 7, which underlines the importance of this cultural event.
A special highlight is the VIP and press reception, which will be moderated by Peter Rapp, a luminary in the Austrian entertainment industry. In addition to the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, those present also enjoy musical performances and a special selection of culinary delights from Donaubräu. Artists such as Andy Lee Lang, Dennis Jale and Christl Prager will perform at this reception and create a great atmosphere with their sounds.
