Pure culture: Donaupark Festival starts with 25 free events!

Donaustadt, Österreich - in Vienna it comes to life again! From July 12 to August 31, 2025, the 20th Open Air Festival will take place on the stage in the Danube Park. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, visitors can look forward to a total of 25 events that offer diverse musical and cabaret highlights. Admission is free, which not only makes the park an indispensable part of Viennese cultural life, but also for many locals and guests a real insider tip. The festival is organized by Herbert Sobotka, President of the Donaustadt Culture Association, who was recently honored by district head Ernst Nevrivy for his services to the Danube Park stage. Funding is carried out by means of the 22nd district and the MA 7, which underlines the importance of this cultural event.

A special highlight is the VIP and press reception, which is moderated by Peter Rapp, a luminary in the Austrian entertainment industry. In addition to the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, those present are also enjoying musical performances and a special selection of culinary delights from the Donaubräu. Artists like Andy Lee Lang, Dennis Jale and Christl Prague will appear as part of this reception and create the best atmosphere with their sounds.

Festival goers can look forward to a colorful mix of music and cabaret. This year's program offers numerous cabaret acts, including Andreas Ferner on August 22nd or Fredi Jirkal on August 1st. The musical contributions come from popular bands such as Ridin Dudes on August 2 and Monti concrete on July 13th. A special attraction will be the final concert of the original Swingtime Big Band with Anita Horn, which is scheduled for August 31st.
