Nominations for TRIGOS 2025: Austria’s best sustainable ideas!

On June 17, 2025, the nominations for the most prestigious award for responsible business in Austria, the TRIGOS, will be announced. This award has promoted corporate responsibility and sustainable innovation for over two decades. Since 2004, TRIGOS has lived up to its name and impresses with over 3,100 submissions and 318 award-winning projects. This year, the nominees can look forward to a platform that will set them as a role model for sustainability.

Submissions for the 22nd edition of TRIGOS took place in six categories. A jury of 14 experts from business, science and civil society evaluated the projects. Now the nominations have been made and the excitement is growing as to who will win the coveted awards, which will be presented on October 2, 2025 at the Markterei in Vienna.

Nominations in detail

In the “Employee Initiatives” category, Kollar GmbH impresses with “New Work meets Inner Work”, Lohmann & Rauscher GmbH with “Learning Friday by L&R” and the daberer Biohotel. with “slow.food.teaching”. In the “Social Innovation & Future Challenges” category, Rhomberg Bau GmbH is in the running with “The Largest Washing Machine in Austria”, Chromulus GmbH with “Dry Mist – More Freshness, Less Plastic” and Sindbad Opportunities Productions GmbH with its “Apprentice Sustainability Challenge (LeNa)”.

Austrian companies also show remarkable initiatives in the other categories. The list of nominations includes:

An award with added value

The TRIGOS is not just a prize, but a platform for sustainable corporate management. By participating, companies have the opportunity to strengthen their image as responsible companies, reflect on their sustainability strategies and receive media attention. Participants also benefit from a valuable network and receive inspiration for innovative ideas.

It is particularly pleasing that regional companies from Lower Austria and Styria also have the chance to be recognized by TRIGOS Regional. The initiative therefore also brings positive impetus to local economic cycles and strengthens sustainable development in the regions.

The award ceremony on October 2nd promises to be a highlight of the business scene and draw all eyes to the makers and innovators who are making a lasting difference. According to the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, TRIGOS is also supported by important partners such as the Austrian Development Agency, AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA and the Climate and Energy Fund.
