In August 2025, a very special cultural festival is celebrated in Vienna, which is devoted to Johann Strauss to the great composer. On August 3, the cultural festival in the life tree circuit “Am Himmel” in Döbling opens its doors. From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors can look forward to a fascinating program that not only celebrates the sounds of Strauss, but also offers modern influences and diversity. The sound path begins at 9:00 a.m. and offers musical homage that celebrates the treasures of Strauss. The festival offers a colorful range of highlights: at 1:10 p.m., music lovers can participate in an exciting live quiz “Castle” to Strauss. At 2:45 p.m., the ORF RSO Livestream Ensemble makes the listeners swing with rousing dance music. For those who prefer a humorous note, there is a cabaret with Viktor Gernot at 3:50 p.m. and at 5:10 p.m. the duo Marina & the Kats, which combines indie sounds with classic swing. In between, Viennese folk music by Stippich & Uhler creates an excellent mood.

The supporting program of the festival will offer a variety of attractions: As early as 12:00 p.m., children can have fun with the face painting or take part in an exciting forest tour with the "environmental snaps".
