Astrology celebrates 20 years: A look into the future at the anniversary!
On June 24, 2025,House of the Viennese Economycelebrated the 20th anniversary of the astrology professional group. Under the motto “When nothing remains as it was,” the participants experienced an exciting hybrid event that took place both on site and virtually. Moderated by Jaqueline Knollmayr and with an opening speech by the department chair Abg.z.NR KommR MMst. Mag. (FH) Elisabeth Neumann, it became clear how important this event is for the astrological community.
Together with specialist group chairman Charly Lechner and former managing director Mag. Wolfgang Jaspers, the event was a meeting point for astrology enthusiasts and professionals. Led by the leading astrologer Mag. Regina Binder, the program included two interesting lectures: Mag. Martina Groer spoke about “game changers of the past” and highlighted historical developments as well as the Saturn-Neptune conjunctions. Peter Fraiss, MSc, followed with the topic “Game-Changer in the Here and Now”, in which he presented current astrological strategies and future research.
The meaning of Saturn-Neptune conjunctions
A key point during the event was the discussion about the upcoming Saturn-Neptune conjunction, which is scheduled to take place on February 20, 2026. This new cycle, which is under the sign of Aries, will begin as early as 2025, in April to be more precise, and will usher in a phase of change. Historically, such conjunctions have been associated with profound shifts in society, with Saturn representing order and structure while Neptune represents vision and spirituality.Astrological analysesshow that the influence of Saturn, which turns retrograde on July 13, 2025, will be felt until November 29, 2025.
This conjunction could influence political structures in many countries, including geopolitical tensions between the US, China and Russia. Migration issues and the questioning of traditional colonial systems could also become more urgent. Historical reviews show that such conjunctions act as triggers for important developments: in 1846, bourgeois revolutions changed Western Europe, in 1917 the Russian Revolution led to profound upheavals, and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 also marked a turning point.
Perspectives and outlooks
The upcoming conjunction symbolizes a new beginning that can enable not only political, but also ethical and institutional realignments. According to the statements ofAstrologers, the coming period could bring with it some challenges, which, however, also offer great opportunities to shape the future responsibly.
At the end of the anniversary, an exciting raffle was held: participants had the opportunity to win vouchers for astrological consultations from Regina Binder and Martina Groer. During a social gathering, those present were able to exchange their impressions and experience the positive energy of the event. The event was also sponsored by Veluma e.U. who provided small giveaways.
Through such events, Vienna is not only dedicated to astrology, but also reflects the constant changes and developments of this fascinating discipline. The pressure to find creative solutions and take responsibility for collective ideals is growing in the astrological community. It therefore remains to be seen what impulses the Saturn-Neptune conjunction will bring in the coming years.
