A new chapter in sports history began in the heart of Vienna on September 5, 2025: the Sport Arena Vienna was ceremoniously opened. Sustainability and environmental protection in focus
What is particularly noteworthy is that the arena was built with ecological and social aspects in mind. The dismantling of the old stadium was carried out professionally and in an environmentally friendly manner, with around 80 percent of the demolition material being recycled, according to information from climate active nourish.
