Music, light and creativity: studio session in Munich on June 21!

Dachauer Str. 112, 80636 München, Deutschland - A special event is imminent: On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Vienna Munich collective invites you to a unique studio session in Hall 6 of the creative district. From 8:00 p.m., visitors can experience atmospheric networking in the middle of music and light. The event aims to bring creative minds together from Munich and Vienna and create interactive eventful moments. It is a barrier-free event and offers all art and music enthusiasts the opportunity to talk to each other and find inspiration.

The musical part of the event promises a varied program. It starts with the Munich band couple who will inspire the audience with their post punk and cold wave sound. You recently published your debut album "The Need for Need".
In addition, the formation ink, which was only founded in 2023, brings a breath of fresh air to the hall with its Dark Rock and Cross Genre Mix. Her latest work, the EP "Me Again", will certainly cause a sensation. The line-up is completed by the indie pop band K.S.P. from Vienna, which was launched as part of the break project.

a highlight in the evening

As an after-show act, the Vienna Group Nuclear State will ensure explosive musical experience. With your acid rock and drone rock you will make the stage shake. The two members Matthias Langer and Hannes Buchwieser also came up with something very special: a captivating video art projection by JDB Records that rounds off the experience.

The creative quarters have gone through a remarkable change in recent years. In the heart of Munich it extends over 20 hectares, on formerly militarily used terrain, and combines art, culture, economy and living space in an urban usage concept. Around 385 apartments, a children's house as well as various cultural and social institutions are being built here. The listed jut and barrel halls are generally repaired and converted in order to meet the needs of art and cultural workers. Thanks to a careful transformation, a place of inspiration is created where creative minds can come together. The city council decided to develop the creative laboratory, which is closely connected to the Munich Commercial Dive and Technology Center MBH (MGH).

A look into the future

Another remarkable element of the creative district is the planned creative park, which is intended to serve as a central, public green space. This area will connect Heßstraße and Dachauer Straße and thus offers space for a variety of activities. Visitors can experience concerts, workshops, readings and performances in import export, which is considered the heart of the creative district.

The creative quarters up there on Dachauer Straße not only established itself as an anonymous city jewelry, but also as a lively starting point for artists and creative entrepreneurs. The last city walk, which took place as part of the "Munich has plan" exhibition, was a prime example of the commitment that is shown here. Ideas and visions meet here to shape the future together.
