Colorful diversity in the office building: art exhibition starts on November 4th!
In Vienna, art is all about inclusion and community. On November 4, 2025, the exhibition “Seeing diversity – experiencing expression” will open in the Simmering office building. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors have the opportunity to experience the works of artists from Lebenshilfe Wien up close. The exhibition will be accessible free of charge during the museum's regular opening hours until November 28, 2025.
District leader Thomas Steinhart emphasizes the unifying power of art. At the vernissage there will also be the opportunity to get to know the artists personally and to enjoy culinary specialties from the Lebenshilfe Wien cooking groups. The aim of the exhibition is to promote inclusion and enable creative exchange, which is particularly important today.
Art as an encounter
The opening is not only an artistic event, but also a meeting of cultures and realities of life. This type of event sends a strong signal for togetherness and diversity in Vienna. The organizer, Lebenshilfe Wien, warmly invites everyone to become part of the creative community on this special day.
For anyone who has questions or needs further information, the contact person is Monika Trummer from Lebenshilfe Wien GmbH at the email address m.trummer@lebenshilfe.wien as well as on telephone number 01/214 02 55.
More than just an exhibition
The “KUI – Art and Inclusion” project, which is also taking place in other parts of Austria at the same time, shows how art connects people. From July 1st to 5th, 2025, a collaborative work of art made from natural materials will be created in the historic Bredelar Monastery. Anyone interested, regardless of disability, is offered the opportunity to participate. These initiatives impressively demonstrate how art breaks down barriers and encourages shared participation.
Overall, the vernissage in the Simmering office building is an invitation to appreciate togetherness and to experience the diversity of creative expression. Be there and let yourself be infected by the artists' joy of life!
