The event, which opened at 11 a.m., attracted numerous visitors and offered a great framework for table tennis enthusiasts from Vienna. Among other things, district leaders Mr. Baurecht, the hosts Jaqueline and Leo Lugner as well as moderator Günther Herzog and chairman Michael Mader from table tennis hobby Vienna were present. The aim of the event was not only the promotion of table tennis sports, but also the inclusive access for everyone interested. The participants found table tennis plates that were accessible to everyone, and members of table tennis hobby Vienna were ready to explain tips and techniques.
The tournaments started from 1 p.m. and the atmosphere was left out. This mood was additionally inspired by the summer temperatures and the professional moderation of Günther Herzog. The response was great with more than 32 participants, and spontaneous teammates were also very welcome. In the knockout phase that started from the quarter-finals, the intensity of the games increased noticeably.
