Vienna is facing an exciting but demanding summer period in rail transport, because ofJune 28th to September 1st, 2025extensive construction work is underway. This particularly affects the Vienna S-Bahn and the U4 line, which will be modernized during the summer holidays. According to official information, numerous routes will be closed during this time and replaced by rail replacement services.

In their place, two rail replacement bus routes will be used: TheBlue Line (SV900)and theYellow Line (SV905).
