New residential project in Vienna: Sustainability meets modern lifestyle!

In Vienna's 14th district, at Breitenseer Straße 28, a new rental housing project is being built that focuses heavily on sustainability. This residential complex, which is exclusively owned by the EHL Wohnen GmbH is marketed, offers 19 modern apartments with two to four rooms. With living spaces ranging from 40 to 95 square meters, there is something for everyone - especially for those who value friendly open spaces. The majority of apartments come with private areas such as balconies, gardens or terraces.

A real highlight is the technical equipment. A combination of air heat pump and photovoltaic system is used here, which is not only environmentally friendly but also enables low operating costs in the long term. The building will be equipped with underfloor heating and cooling, while air conditioning will also be installed in the ground floor and top floor apartments. This well-thought-out technology ensures a pleasant living environment at any time of the year.

Community and surrounding area

The location makes the project particularly attractive because the local amenities couldn't be better: supermarkets, bakeries, cafés and pharmacies can be found in the immediate vicinity, and lively city life is quickly accessible. The transport connections are also impressive - the U3 subway line, tram lines 10 and 49 as well as the “Breitensee” S-Bahn station guarantee fast connections to the city center and beyond.

The immediate surroundings are also a pleasure for families and active people. Nearby parks invite you to take walks and do sports. In addition, the bicycle room with parking spaces in the inner courtyard ensures that cyclists are also well looked after. There is a toddler playground for the younger residents, which makes the area even more child-friendly.

Awards for sustainable living

In recent years, Vienna has made a name for itself as one of the most livable cities in the world, particularly by promoting sustainable housing projects. More and more developers are attaching importance to ecologically and socially compatible solutions, as the current project on Breitenseer Straße shows. Based on a concept that works with sustainable energy sources, the new residential project fits seamlessly into the multitude of existing, forward-looking properties in Vienna. Projects like the Smart City Vienna or the Vienna Biotope City set standards and offer interesting inspiration for future developments.

The combination of high-quality materials, such as oak parquet and Italian porcelain stoneware from Marazzi, as well as the thoughtful planning of various communal facilities in the house, show that everything has been thought of in this project. Move-in to the apartments will be possible from July 1, 2026 and there is already great interest.

For anyone interested in a new, sustainable home in Vienna, this project is a real gem. Living sustainably here not only means a modern and comfortable life, but also a contribution to climate protection and thus to the future of the city.
