Directly behind it is the Viktor-Adler-Markt in Favoriten with 86,248 visitors, followed by the Naschmarkt with 80,497 guests per week. The other markets are also impressive. The Kutschkermarkt recorded a particularly strong increase of 48 percent, while the Schlingermarkt in Floridsdorf also attracted 22 percent more visitors.

The Viennese markets also owe this to the continuous efforts to improve market conditions. City councilor Ulli Sima was responsible for the markets until recently and praised the new core opening times, which ensure that the stalls are open until 9 p.m. on weekdays. Gastro offers are now also available on Sundays, giving the markets additional momentum. When the new government is formed in 2025, the Neos took over the helm and immediately implemented some improvements. This includes halving the fees for pub gardens and allowing them to open on Sundays. The Schlingermarkt in Floridsdorf will be redesigned by the end of August to further improve the shopping experience.
