Kickoff for women's football: Lembach Ladies Cup starts with highlights!

A punctual start to the new season for women's football in Upper Austria: The 12th International Lembach Ladies Cup opens the championship in Lembach on August 9, 2025. Co-organizer Gerhard Gierlinger has already revealed exciting details about the event, which brings together teams from different leagues and is intended to inspire not only the players but also the spectators. Registrations close on July 20th, so interested teams need to hurry.

The Lembach Ladies Cup awaits a colorful mix of teams. Among the participants are well-known names such as CSK Uhersky Brod from the 3rd Czech league and 1. FFC Fortuna Dresden from the Regionalliga Nord/Ost in Germany. In addition, local teams such as Union Nebelberg, FC Vomp and Union Lembach will also be represented. A big highlight: Bohemians Prague are competing to defend their title after winning the cup the last two years.

Prizes and party

The top three teams will receive prize money of 500 euros, sponsored by Schmidhofer, roof and facade, Altenfelden. The award ceremony after the tournament will be rounded off with an after-show party in the club building, which will certainly create a great atmosphere.
