Viennese nightmare: Men terror with faeces and needles continues!

A worrying incident is currently causing excitement in Vienna. A 29-year-old man was suspected of attacking women in different parts of the city with faeces and used syringes. The acts took place in the districts of Margareten (1050), Meidling (1120) and Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus (1150), with at least five documented incidents known since April 2025. The police report that an attack even took place in a moving U6 railway, while other attacks were carried out on the open street or in front of a fast food restaurant.

Who is behind these disgusting acts? The suspect, a Romanian citizen, is attributed to the adhesive environment. On July 2, 2025, he was temporarily arrested after another attack, but was released after consultation with the Vienna public prosecutor. The investigation is determined, among other things, for property damage, attempted bodily harm and intentional risk to people from transferable diseases.
