The Ottakringer Brewery opened the new restaurant “Zapfmeisterei” on July 16, 2025 at the location of the former Bermuda Bräu in downtown Vienna. What can you expect in the new tap master shop? The restaurant serves two types of fresh, unpasteurized tank beer, which comes directly from 500 liter copper tanks and is brewed just five kilometers away in the Ottakringer brewery. There are also at least four other draft beers, including select craft beers from the Ottakringer BrauWerk. The menu offers a variety of Viennese classics, such as old Viennese fried chicken, spare ribs and the particularly popular Viennese original burgers, filled with schnitzel or fried chicken.
