Design creative retreats
To promote mindfulness, retreats can also be created in your own home. For example, it becomes particularly cozy with carefully selected decorative elements that have a calming effect. Candles are classic companions for meditative areas, while plants not only add color to the room, but also contribute to general well-being. Recommended low-maintenance plants such as succulents or peace lilies are perfect for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Textiles made from natural materials also ensure comfort - cotton and wool are the first choice here.
Art, be it through paintings or sculptures, can also contribute to serenity. Abstract works in soft colors or natural scenes are particularly suitable. A small altar or a place for personal items, such as crystals or memorabilia, creates a space that inspires and invites pause. All of these elements support the search for inner peace and mindfulness in a hectic everyday life.
