The anticipation of the opening Sandhof wine bar in Lech am Arlberg: On December 6th the time has come! Under the direction of Martin Prodinger, the owner of the Hotel Sandhof, this innovative wine bar will be open to all guests - whether equipped for the slopes or elegantly dressed.

The wine bar concept aims to offer high quality wines in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Prodinger is supported by the trankreif team led by Clemens Riedl, who ensures a carefully curated wine list. This offers over 500 items, from new discoveries to proven classics to real rarities, some of which date back to 1860.

Diverse offer

A highlight is the opportunity to enjoy the wines both by the bottle and in changing offerings by the glass. And the best thing about it: The Sandhof wine bar can be visited without a reservation! During the day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the room is transformed into the Lech bakery, where freshly baked bread, breakfast, delicious coffee and snacks such as raclette bread and quiche await guests.

The coffee is of the highest quality and comes from in-house roasting. In the evening, the menu features uncomplicated dishes made from high-quality ingredients that celebrate alpine enjoyment. The style-conscious and light-flooded interior of the wine bar, located directly on the river, is complemented by a large window that shows portraits of 45 winemakers. A heated terrace with a view of the Lech church tower completes the offer.

Fine wines and exciting tastings

If that's not enough, you can look forward to exciting tastings that will take place in the first week after the opening. Among others, well-known winemakers such as Dorli Muhr and Philipp Wittmann (on December 8th), Emmerich Knoll and Martin Nittnaus (on December 9th) and Armin Tement and Roland Velich (on December 11th) will provide insights into their winemaking skills. Further guest appearances are already being planned.
