On August 30, 2025, FC Patron played its first game of the new season in 1st Class B against RB Jedlesee. At Columbia Square in Vienna, the 40 spectators saw a thrilling game that FC Patron won 2-0. After a goalless first half in which the guests dominated the game, the pressure in the second half was finally rewarded.
The start was a bit slow for both teams. Jedlesee goalkeeper Sebastian Gold saved several shots from the Patron players, including a header from Philipp Jorganovic in the 15th minute. A shot off the post by Oliver Zlatovic in the 26th minute also contributed to the goallessness, as Joel Schönauer failed in the follow-up shot against the strong gold. The first half ended without goals, but FC Patron's performance gave hope for more.
Strong performance in the second half
In the second half, FC Patron showed their superiority. In the 54th minute, Nedeljko Jefimic took advantage of a play error by the hosts and gave the guests a 1-0 lead. Philipp Jorganovic then made it 2-0 in the 75th minute after a precise pass from Jefimic. After these two goals, Jedlesee was no longer able to pose any significant goal threat and the game was decided in Patron's favor.
When it came to yellow cards, players on both sides had to suffer: David Grasl (56th minute), Ibrahim Jalloh (70th minute) and Ahmad Dowah (78th minute) received warnings for Jedlesee, while Amar Muheljic (49th minute) and Muhamet Mahmutaj (90th minute) were booked for FC Patron. The team of referees around Daniel Radivojevic had the game under control throughout.

With this solid start, FC Patron can certainly look forward to the rest of the season with confidence. Last season ended anything but pleasantly for Patron, as they lost 1-0 in a direct duel against Jedlesee on May 5, 2024, after Vladislav Pyalin scored the decisive goal in the 61st minute, laying the foundation for Jedlefee's strong performance. This time, however, Patron learned the right lessons and returned the favor.
