Young Violets celebrate the climb: 6-1 victory makes hearts beat faster!

Donaufeld, Österreich - After an exciting last match day of the Regionalliga Ost, the Young Violeets return to Admiral 2nd league after their relegation in 2023, with an impressive 6-1 win over the FCM Traiskirchen. This comeback is a very special chapter in club history for the association under head coach Maximilian Uhlig. As Laola1 , the fight for the coveted runner-up title was completely open and excited.

The Young Violets had to hope for their own victory on the last match day and at the same time for defeats by their competitors FC Marchfeld Donauauen and SC Neusiedl am See to secure second place in the table and thus the promotion. This opens up the opportunity to play a league higher in the coming season. This is all the more remarkable, since both Marchfeld and Neusiedl also have no license for the 2nd league. Thus, the Young Violets are in second place and can finally look forward to returning to the 2nd league after a few turbulent years, while the ASK Voitsberg has to go to the regional league.

The rise of the Young Violets also brings changes in relegation. Due to their climb, there are four relegated opportunities. If the club had missed the climb, four teams from the Regionalliga Ost would have relegated, but now it remains with three relegations. The ASV Siegendorf and FC Mauerwerk are already determined as relegation, while Gloggnitz and Favac still hope for relegation on the last match day.
