A very special musical encounter takes place between Christian Bakanic's Trio Infernal and the singer Paula Barembuem. The two artists have teamed up to present an innovative program that combines various musical influences. Barembuem, originally from Buenos Aires, has settled in Vienna and brings an intimate familiarity with tango to the collaboration. This is complemented by the trio's complex compositions, which are inspired by, among others, Astor Piazzolla. This fusion of jazz, contemporary club grooves and traditional tango makes the result an exciting experience for the listeners. On December 14, 2023, this project will be performed under the title “The Voice of the Voiceless: a musical portrait of Mercedes Sosa” in the Silbersaal in Munich, according to Deutsches-Theater.de.

The program promises an exciting experience with a varied cast: In addition to Paula Barembuem on vocals, Christian Bakanic (accordion, keyboard, percussion), Christian Wendt (bass) and Jörg Haberl (drums) are part of the ensemble.
