Last Sunday, the 40 spectators at the FAC-Platz saw an exciting duel in the Oberliga B when UD Süssenbrunn met SV Aspern. The game ended with an even 4:2 in favor of the home team, who took another step up in the table with this win.
The course of the game was characterized by many twists and turns: In the 34th minute, Daniel Ipser gave the Ud the lead for the first time. While Aspern had a little more possession of the ball, there were no clear chances until half time. The level-headed equalizer only followed in the 61st minute by Abdurrahman Ercelik, who shortly afterwards even converted a penalty and thus briefly gave Aspern the lead (1:2).

But the Süssenbrunners didn't let themselves be defeated. Daniel Ipser equalized again in the 73rd minute, followed by Angelo Katusa, who restored Süssenbrunn's lead just two minutes later (3:2). Patrik Schiller made the final score 4-2 in the last minute, which finally sealed the home win. This success catapulted Süssenbrunner into the top half of the table, while SV Aspern suffered their seventh defeat this season.
Coach Thomas Irsigler from Süssenbrunner is visibly satisfied with his team's performance and praised the morale of his players, who demonstrated their mental strength after falling behind.
